The Community Council over the years have used its funds to acquire facilities for the community.
Sandy Haven Car Park is owned by the Community Council and is one of the few car parks in Pembrokeshire which remains free for users. The upper car park is all hardstanding, the lower car park is grass.
The Herbrandston Community Recreational Area is owned by the Community Council and on a long term lease to Herbrandston Sports and Recreation Association. The Council is proud of the joint working with the Committee of the Sports and Recreation Association. This has resulted in Herbrandston Football and Cricket Clubs being established, along with the building of the Herbrandston Community Hub which is a valuable asset to our village.
The Herbrandston Community Hub is open to the the public (no membership required) from Thursday to Sunday. For opening hours, please visit the Herbrandston Community Hub Facebook page.
The Community Hub operates a licenced bar which offers full range of alcoholic and soft drinks at excellent prices.
The Hub also has Multi-Screen TV's showing Sky Sports available in the bar, along with Pool table.

The Community Council replaced the playpark in 2024 with the kind support of South Hook LNG Terminal.
The Community Council purchased a speed awareness sign following resident concerns of traffic speeding at the approach to our village. The purchase of this sign was funded by Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services (PAVS).
The Community Council inherited four benches from a community group which was previously operated in the village. These facilities have been recently upgraded with Community Council Funds by installing a concrete slab for each bench to be securely fixed to ensure health and safety.

All of our Community Council owned Defibrillators are registered with the National Database by the Clerk of the Community Council. The maintenance of the Defibrollators are carried out by a member of the Community Council each quarter.
